DreamDay: Dublin Castle & Coastline Tour Ticket

Buy your ticket while they last! — JUNE 6, 2019 AFTERNOON TOUR. Head out on a private tour of an 800-year-old haunted castle, spend time in an ancient town & marvel at the picturesque coastline north of Dublin.

About Your Trip

Get a glimpse inside the walls — and the lives — of legendary Malahide Castle. Home to the Talbot family since 1185, you’ll hear about their joys and tribulations, and visit rooms like the gothic-style Great Hall, wood-paneled Oak Hall and private bedrooms. Steeped in centuries of history, it’s no wonder the place is haunted!

The interior of the castle may be impressive, but the outside and all its grounds are equally fabulous. You’ll have time to explore the walled garden with landscaped lawns and gorgeous flowerbeds and the Butterfly House that boasts more than 20 species of these wonderful creatures. Afterward, hop back on your bus for a drive down the coastline. Pass through the quaint seaside village of Malahide and stop at the small town of Howth. You’ll have the opportunity to snap some pics from the top of Howth Summit with stunning views of Dublin Bay. As you continue back to Dublin, be sure to have your camera ready for more views of Dublin Bay, St. Anne’s Park and Bull Island.

What we love:
•The ghost of Sir Walter Hussey roams the halls of Malahide Castle. Killed in battle on his wedding day, he continues to take out his anger on a rival, a Talbot, who married his bride-to-be in his stead.
•The highest point on the peninsula, Howth Summit reaches 561 feet (171 meters) high.

Click select to purchase your ticket for the private half-day tour of Malahide Castle and the Dublin coast on Thursday, June 6 at 1-5 p.m.

Destination

Dublin is the capital of the Republic of Ireland and home to 13th-century castles, cathedrals and lively riverside nightlife. The city is best known for its pubs and breweries, but its art and history museums hold their own as some of the most popular travel destinations in Ireland. The inspiration for Ireland’s nickname is no stretch of the imagination; the “Emerald Isle” is filled with lush flora.
